Special Guest- December 13, 2022

It's been months since I've seen any of my friends and family from Hawaii. I was ecstatic when my younger brother who also studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, finished his exams early and is going to visit me in France! In my biased opinion I would say that Jordan and I have the tightest relationship within the family, so this was very special for me. I tried to convince my entire family to make their way up to France but Jordan was the one who took initiative.

He only had two weeks in Europe and I planned to make it unforgettable. For this short amount of time I planned to show him the small and quiet town that I've spent studying and day tripping from. Then once I finish my exams we would travel to Madrid, Spain with two of my friends I met on Erasmus, and finish in Lisbon, Portugal.

I was very happy Jordan was able to make it for this portion of the trip because Madrid and Lisbon are home towns to two of my best friends that I met during the Erasmus. The experience was super authentic because we got to stay with them and be submerged in the cultures. They were great hosts, their families took us in as their own and showed us the beautiful cities.
