Dreamland- August 18, 2022

Towards the end of Andras and I backpacking travels we invited our friend Conner to join us on the last leg of our journey. For this portion of the trip he would be spending the next two weeks with us in France, Italy and Switzerland! We were super excited to

have him along the end of our journey. He is a childhood friend of both of ours and it was refreshing to see him after 2 months of being away. When he first met us in France he brought us up to date on what was going on back in Hawaii, while laughing and reminiscing about old times.

Switzerland was the highlight of our trip because we are all extremely passionate about nature and exploration. Switzerland was the best location for him to accompany us for this specific reason because of the abundance of hiking, towns encompassed in nature, and numerous locations to explore. The only major problem we ran into was the cost of traveling. Switzerland was by far the most expensive country that we traveled through and that made it difficult to get the best experience, but luckily we are used to roughing it from past roadtrips in the United States.

We explored Switzerland like it was our own backyard. Turning up every rock and reaching every mountain top. It was one of the greatest times during my study abroad experience and I could not have wished for any to make me more satisfied.
